Small frames are typically shipped pre-assembled. In order to keep shipping costs low and avoid shipping damage, medium to large frames are normally shipped ready-to-assemble.

Assembling frames is simple and requires no special tools. Please refer to our Framers Guide for an illustrative guide. If you prefer to have your frames pre-joined, please note it on the special instructions field in the cart. Requests will be accommodated as long as they fall within UPS and FedEx oversize package threshold policies and do not significantly impact your shipping costs. If they do, we will let you know before shipping.

Yes, Frameist does allow custom orders to be returned, for any reason. We will refund the cost of the custom item(s) returned, minus a 30% restocking fee within 14 days from the date the item was shipped (note: shipping fees are not refundable). To do so, simply reply to your confirmation email requesting a return authorization. Please refer to our Policies page for more details.
